Practice: Meka Tesla Y+O by ~Luckster
A little practice/experimentation with drawing an older aged character
Like many on Deviantart, I tend to draw characters who are on the young side. Characters in their teens or twenties in appearance. I’ve very rarely tried my hand at drawing an older character.
Here’s one of my newest and lesser known characters, Meka Telsa. I started out drawing her young form, then her old beside her. I went back and forth, drawing the features that would be shared through the ages, but would be ever so slightly altered, as well as adjusting Meka’s head shape and giving her appropriate age wrinkles with her older form.
It’s not perfect, but it’s also not bad for a practice piece.
